I removed the product support and applied the 10% coupon. Got it down to $962.50 before tax. Not sure if this was a fluke, something unique to my state, or what, but at that price I couldn't help but pull the trigger even though I'm wary of the brand/quality.

The panel on these have horrendous quality control. I've had dead and stuck/bright pixels on 5 panels so far. Technicians came out to replace the first four and then Dell just sent a completely new laptop out that also had ~10 stuck pixels. Warranty states 1 stuck/bright pixel or 6 dead pixels is enough for them to replace it. Frustrating having to deal with this issue on this many panels though.

I had this laptop, returned it recently only due to fan noise. This thing sounds like a jet engine while playing the lowest demand games.. Otherwise solid device

as far as I know you can only get those coupons once and they don't tell if you if you received one in the past, they simply don't send it. I believe people tend to sign-up with other emails to get another.
