For only 15 bucks more I would definitely get the spare battery even if I had a dozen. I see the Amazon is currently 65 now. Used is closer than 70 😂😂.

I'm showing Amazon has the same model on sale for $70, albeit it's the tool only without a battery. Not much cheaper than the HD deal but possibly worthwhile if you already have a bunch of Ryobi batteries like I do.

This tool is a life changer if you are a DIYer who currently does all ratcheting by hand. On the downside, it's a little big compared to some similar tools, it's not the most powerful, and it's not designed to be used manually (it's only for power ratcheting, don't use it as a regular ratchet to start the bolt).

All that said, they sell it at a great price point and I get a ton of use out of mine. Worth the price of admission imo

Eh? Showing $144 for me. Is this YMMV? I've tried changing stores and adding to cart.

Almost always need to use a breaker bar on most car parts anyways.

I bought the 1/2" model from Direct Tools Outlet recently, and it has been great. I used it to ratchet some bolts to a wall for a pedestal sink that were taking forever with a regular ratchet.

FYI you can get something like this to convert this into a right angle drill as well - https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-3...1000178191

That's odd. Have you tried a different browser or in the private view mode?

Why do I need a ratchet when I have an impact driver with a 3-8 inch bit adapter? Is it just the shape to get into tight spots?

Really strange. I tried a bunch of different Texas zip codes in incognito mode with no luck. Just tried a cali zip and it worked.

Appears to be YMMV (kinda)…doesn't appear to be working with my local Zip codes 75201

Workaround obviously was to change zips and ship to home. Doesn't work with ship to store.

Well I spoke too soon. When I update the shipping address, the cart updates the price to $144. This is definitely YMMV.
