You'll hate it or love it. I absolutely loved it - I think it's a masterpiece. I've never played another game like it.

I've claimed every bundle for about six years straight and I'm pretty happy with the value. I pay $1 or less per game, so I consider it like going to an old school coin-op arcade, except I get to keep the games and play them whenever I want. There are some games I had no idea that I'd like, or even games that I forgot I had then enjoyed a year later after hearing something cool about them.

Anyone else having issues getting their Death Stranding code to work?

I already owned Death Stranding regular edition on Steam - could this be the reason for getting a redemption error for the Director's Cut?

Honestly, if you already have standard edition the DC on PC adds very little unless you want the ultrawide screen support. There is no frame rate cap on the PC version so I think the ultra wide support and supposedly some "cross over content" are the only big draws.

Perhaps request a refund if you have not activated yet?

If you really want the DC you could try to remove the standard version from your Steam account but that might also be risky as well. Good luck either way!

Hmm, people have said they've been able to add the Director's Cut by first "permanently removing" their base game, activating the DC version, then "recovering removed game".

I ended up pausing a month even though this is one of their best bundles in a while (I own Death Stranding on PS4.)

Heads up: If you have an active membership and pause a month, you may get an offer for $4 off.

While everything you are saying is correct there are a ton of quality of life gameplay improvements that make the DC version a lot more fun to play and less grindy (carriers on ziplines is a big one).
