Both 4 gig sticks of ram are soldered…technically upgradeable but prohibitively expensive and difficult and given the price point a worthless endeavor.

The ram is not up gradable in any reasonable way. And as usual with a cheaper machine, the screen sucks.

Someone gave me (edit: very similar) one of these with a busted screen and I removed it and am using the deck as a home theater PC hooked into a 4k TV. The only problem is that there is not 5.1 audio via USB-C, but otherwise it's been a decent machine. My only complaint is Windows 10, but that's a software issue and to a hardware one.

Runs loud and hot with games on medium to low settings, but it manages to perform better than expected at this price point. Everything else, like streaming and whatnot are great. This isn't my endorsement for a machine, just my experience.
