$295 for a kettle! I'll upgrade to white walled wheels on my existing kettle for 5 bucks thanks. Your 70th anniversary means a lot more to you than it does me, Weber
wow very colorful... am i the only one who doesn't clean black grease marks on the outside wall of the kettle grill?? i bet i can get that color ruined in 10 minutes
Lol $295 and they want how much originally?? It's cute but not that cute weber. These companies have gotten too greedy and then when people stop buying they scream foul.

I remember a previous "special" version of Weber's kettle grill was actually made with inferior parts than their cheaper, everyday kettle. Not sure if that's the case here, but worth looking into if you're going to throw $300 at this.

The parts were the same. But they had to make the red powder coat in China because it was environmentally bad enough it couldn't be done here. The finish was not applied to Webers typical quality and the packaging was poor so many found damage right out of the box.
I'm sad to say Weber is going downhill, though. They were once iconic, affordable, durable and available everywhere. Customer service was legendary. I emailed them for parts yesterday and instead of getting a quote I got broken English and they clearly didn't read my email where I told them the part numbers I wanted to purchase.
$295.00 on sale from reg price of $499.00 - $539.00?
WTH! Who would buy this at this price? I could see maybe a $15.00 - $20.00 markup for the 50's colors, but this. I paid $250.00 twelve years ago for my Weber Performer touch 'n go with gas ignition. It's still working great and looks just like new when cleaned up.

Yeah, I'm on my 3rd Performer. Nothing better. This is a joke for the money.
