I have had terrible luck recently with used items (4 of my last 6 have been wrong items or scam returns, where the product labels have been purposely swapped to deceive the next buyer). I suspect it would be the same with cards (someone buys a 6700 and sends a 6600 back in the box for a refund), but if one were to get lucky it would be some savings.
As a heads up, the following card is $199 at Amazon (you have to select Amazon as the seller to see $199.99). It looks like a longer card, but three fans (for those that put stock in more fans = better cooling).
