Have had this generator for about 5 years - paid the same price when I bought it. Runs like a champ but the CO2 monitor is stupid and has a few times triggered a shutdown when the wind blew the exhaust towards the sensor.

I've had the smaller EFI version of this for ~3 years now and have experienced the same CO2 shutdown with the wind/exhaust combo. I'll also mention that this generator is LOUD, like wake up the dead LOUD.

Apparently you can just unplug the module (see pg 2) then jumper the 2 black wires.

I would think you could also just tightly cover the actual sensor port - e.g. with some tape or something.
