Kawai ES520 88-Key Portable Digital Piano with stand, pedals and bench $1399
$1,399.00
$1,916.99
The Kawai ES520 is a highly rated 88-key portable digital piano that usually sells for $1399 so it's a great deal for Adorama to include the Kawai stand, three pedals and a Yamaha bench for that same price.

I've taken the kawai pedals apart, they sell these for $60 for the single $180-200 for the triple, it can't possibly cost more than $10 to make. Very simple internal circuits.
The deal is bad value.

It's not good value because a few pieces of vinyl particle board is not worth $550.
You can buy all the wood AND the power tools to build a furniture stand for $550.
LP380 at $750 is straight good value.
ES520 at $850 is ok'ish value, according to the forum it has speaker box problems.
ES520 + furniture stand for $1399 is BAD value.

The Korg has no rhythms, No BT, only 2/3rds the Polyphony, you have a single pedal input, it uses an off the shelf 3rd party keyboard (Kawai designed their own), The Korg only has 30% of the effects that the Kawai has and from what I can tell no hall simulation. The Kawai is the only brand to feature the top two sounds of the number one Japanese Grand Piano manufacturer (they're very nice sounding too).
I get it, you like the Korg, and it is a nice entry level instrument, but let's not pretend they're in the same class, because they're not, the ES520 is the mid-tier instrument and the Korg is closer to the ES120.
