I'm curious too. Seems like a great deal from it's normal price. It's expensive per watt, but all of their stuff is. This provides a very good use case for the money.

Most likely people thinking this is just a "standard" generator, meaning the price is too high.
However, I am looking to get one of these some days. The intelligent connection to Ecoflow batteries sounds like a really useful feature for extended outages when I dont want to run my 10kw generator for the whole house and burn through 13 gallons of fuel in 8 hours.

Yah... I can't see how this generator different itself from the recent deal of the 2500W Champion dual fuel inverter generator.
You'll get higher load (2500 vs. 1800), better known brand for inverter generator (Ecoflow may be a better name in Lithium battery related products, but not otherwise), and with less than 1/2 the cost.
The (maybe) only advantage of this generator is the "intelligent connection" to Ecoflow batteries; but still, that only works if you own other Ecoflow product in the first place. Or, well, you have to spend loads of money to buy their other products. So... sorry, but thumb-down from me.

Why would you give a thumbs down on a deal for specific use product if you yourself arent interested in the specific use?
The only reason this product exists is for the hands free topping off of ecoflow batteries, including automatic startup and shutdown based on battery level.
The rating should reflect the deal, not how you feel disinterested on the product.

To each their own, I guess? Or is there a "rule" on how people should vote on deals?
I perceived this product as outrageously expensive when comparing to similar products (yes, even though it is a "fancy" generator, it's still an inverter generator. AmIrite?)
To me, it's obviously not worth the price, and hence my downvote. I represent myself and my own interest, but I am not an official reviewer channel or anything, so YES, I think voting down is in line with my interest in the product. Feel free to vote up as you like.
