This is a pretty good deal for small to medium yards. Surprised there's not more actions
Remember these are 24v which is stronger than all those 18v/20v equipments. The mower uses 2x=48v.
I have a SunJoe 24vx2/48v mower and I can cut my small yard at least 2 times before the batteries are depleted. These batteries are 5ah vs the SunJoe 4ah batteries.
This is also self-propelled too.
Put the mower conservatively at $250 and you have the blower/trimmer at $136. Pretty good price for 24v.
24v is a 33% power increase over 18v(all the 20v are really 18v).

Be forewarned.... that I have the 80v version of the mower and blower and after 2-3 years my batteries are will not hold charge very long... I loved the convenience but in hindsight wish I had never purchased and stuck with IC - gas (non-ethanol ). I now have a $350 boat anchor... replacement batteries are more than a new gas mower.

Well that is a rare review. Maybe buy from Costco, you get 8 year warranty on batteries. I have 7-8 tools in the 80V line and no huge battery issues. Sure they get worse over time but still usable. Think my oldest battery 7 years old? Would have to check sticker. Regardless. New batteries are not as much as a gas mower... You get the convenience and no maintenance.

Ive had the 80v kobalt (same battery) for 8 years and they are still going strong.

What is diff in 2 24v or one 40v. Just want to understand, dnt know the difference
I wouldn't just buy this for the mower but the trimmer too. It seems like the versions with higher volts have more power (and positive reviews) than their lower voltage counterparts. So while it says 48v, which is technically correct for the mower, all other things in this line are only 24v.

Glad to know that you had better outcome than me.. Maybe the kobalt batteries have a slightly different circuitry . I have one battery that does not work at all and suffers from even after trying this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Bk2ViMnF4w

You may want to check with Greenworks; these should be covered under the 4 year warranty for equipment and batteries. And if you purchased your tools from Costco, the warranty is 8 years on those batteries.
Unfortunately I did not purchase from costco and the solution is over 5 years old and they will not help (I tried) . I tried this solution on YT as well without success. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Bk2ViMnF4w.

Do not buy from these guys. CS is horrible. they wont even cancel order, if you need to change or cancel. You'll have to return and they will charge shipping. Also only 1 year warranty.

Is it a good price? First time home buyers, so never done yard work before.
Missed out on Costco offer last month. Is it a good buy for a medium size yard?
I bought one last year from Greenworks and it's dead on arrival. It took me quite an effort to return it. Buy a 56V Ego electric mower instead. It comes with 7.5Ah battery. The build quality is much better.

"medium" can mean a lot of different things, but IMO this is good for a relatively flat <1/2 acre yard.

Only issue is I believe that the blower is a battery hog- you might have to charge in between mowing and weed whacking/blowing.

Great deal for all 3. But do keep in mind if you want to expand your collection most the Lawn and Garden larger tools are going to be in the 40-60-80V lineup. This uses the 24V batteries and 24V is geared for lighter-weight hand tools. You can look at greenworks [greenworkstools.com] and see what's available by voltage.

Great deal. Add the price for 2 extra 24v batteries for the lawn mower. I brought a 60v self propelled in 2019. Still works great. I bought an extra 5ah battery. As time goes by, they don't last as long. I just ordered another 60v 5ah today with the current deals they are having. Just look at extra batteries cost as oil & gas for a cutting season or two. I have a half acre lot. I actually thought about buying this as a backup but got the battery instead.

I keep my batteries in a cool place all winter fully charged. One every month or two, I put them in the charger. I never charged them after use until they are completely cooled down. They are still going strong. I bought another 60v 5ah today because it was a great deal and probably will need it later on.

Same. My 80v kobalt has been great for years. Mows 1/3 acre of fast growing grass in FL no problem. I do nothing special to care for it, has been flawless. Not sure I'd mess with a lower voltage mower though
