I played the originals back in the day. And I just played the remastered versions of Homeworld 1 & 2 a few months ago, they definitely still hold up and are a lot of fun.

Works fine on Steam Deck. Controls are a different matter. Didn't spend too long looking for a community profile but the default didn't seem to work well but that isn't surprising as the game was never designed around a controller.

BTW, any game that doesn't gave full controller support out of the box will never be listed as "verified." Doesn't mean it won't run perfectly even with the default control layout, especially with first or third person games.

I've been playing Homeworld for over 20 years. Probably one of the best RTS games of all time.
