I was researching cheapest low-cap data plans for <$10/month for a custom EV tracker I was building and got this in an email from riders-share. I was already considering it and then discovered it even cheaper on these links. Might be only for riders-share/alltrak llc/northland dealers members/employees. If it comes with 4 years of data then this is a steal for a full-featured GPS tracker ($6.4/month). Most others I've come across are around $10-20/month for data alone (which is ridiculous) but the device itself would be cheaper. YMMV as these might be group-specific offers. Non-returnable once activated and "installed".

Edit: T-mobile syncup may be a better deal at $42 for the device, rechargeable, and $5/month. They are running a promotion that seems to cover $42 device cost if you start a contract with them. Thanks cgigate

- Very compact like most trackers
- Comes with it's own cell data, apparently only 2 years included
- Geofencing support
- If GPS is limited it will use cell towers to give an estimate
- App looks decent for other products

It looks like all you have to do to activate these is make an account with PassTime and log into their site for dealers? While I wanted to make something to monitor the charge on my EV (and if some jerk unplugs it and tries to waste an hour of my time), that project will take a lot of time I don't have currently.
