It depends on the size you order. I think anything smaller than 2T usually has snaps on the inside for easy diaper changes. At 2T and up, they expect kids to be potty training and so there are no more snaps.

Personally I bought tons of these cute rompers in the baby sizes and then I purposefully avoided them in 2T-3T because I worried it would be more challenging for them to get on and off themselves while potty training.
