The Hart 20v system isn't going anywhere. This is Walmart's in-house cordless power tool line to directly compete with the other entry level brands. They're also made by the same company that makes Ryobi and Milwaukee, so safe to say the manufacturer isn't going to just close up shop.

These deep discounts right now are mostly to compete with the Ryobi deals going on right now and to get you hooked into the Hart 20v ecosystems. The reason the brushless drill and impact were so cheap is because they just released new revisions of them.

Why do I feel like they are discontinuing Hart 20v tools? Many are $39. I picked these up because they have some unique tools I actually like (rinser, dremel, fogger).

same. there must be a way to use my Milwaukee batteries. just in case Hart batteries cant be find anywhere in 5 years...

They look really similar to HFT Bauer line too and at exactly the same price point basically. Both good tools!

I was actually looking for extra battery for my recent Hart Rinser purchase. However, I found this deal and ended up with this drill/driver 2xbattery kit Smilie
