This thing is awful and unpleasant to listen to. Speakers are tinny and easily outclassed by $10 Bluetooth speakers. Turntable is of incredibly poor quality all around. Cheap carts will ruin your vinyl.

Maybe a use case is "I have this mysterious record and I don't know if anything is on it and I can't leave the house and I only have $20 to listen to it once just to see what it is and not really enjoy it."

Audiophiles will go so far as to use tube type amplifiers to preserve sound fidelity. Many musicians do, as well. Analog has a richer, warmer sound than digital.
