Honestly, thanks for posting this. Vudu has a lot of random sales and it can be hard to sift through at times. I saw this and my mother loves the show. I know it's SD and not HD, but the price is awesome and she just won't care.

I watched reruns as a kid. Then caught a few episodes for free on Amazon (?). Still made me laugh so I had it on my wish list.

Honestly the whole B&W SD digital is part of the charm. Assuming you didn't grow up on flat panel, high fidelity TV.

Oddly, the individual seasons are listed as available in HDX, but are not purchasable as such once you've bought the entire series in SD.
Not that I would want to spend the money in this case.

It does list the season as HDX but if you look at the individual episodes they are SD. Possibly a mistake on the part of VUDU which happens often.

I bought this a couple years ago on Vudu for $7 or $8, I can't remember. The quality is pretty bad (worse than the DVDs). It's a shame, but I read on the Blu-ray forum a couple years ago that it was getting remastered along with some other shows. Not a hint since...

I actually meant it as a try before you buy. nathanddrews said the pic quality was bad for the series when he bought it a few years back. I was thinking people might see if there's been any improvement.
