I find it interesting how Furman chose to retain the capacitor in the chassis...

Zip ties to chassis vents?

I see no problem with the mounting, it looks plenty secure. After-all this is an item that just sits around, it doesn't move around. 2 Zip ties should be more than plenty for this task. However, if I was paying top dollar for the thing, I might take offense to such a cheap mounting solution.

This is a quality unit and not snake oil like so many power conditioners. I'd consider it, but I am a dealer for Furman and can get them at cost. This unit is old however (came out in 2014). I really would rather not have the coax and RJ9 connectors (hence 2014). That said, for $350 retail it's a slick deal.

Personally, I use 'balanced power' and probably always will. But this device still tempts me, especially around this price point. I'd love to test one out with an oscilloscope to see exactly what its doing.

I have to second Checlp. I bought this unit in 2020 for $500 and it has been an absolute tank. I have two PCs, an Xbox, three blu-ray players, three dacs, speakers, an Apple TV, a firestick, and two amplifiers plugged into it without any problems. The benefits of getting conditioning for better audio/visuals is debated fiercely, but everything sounds good, looks good, and has been protected from an extremely crappy town home community power grid that browns out at least three times a week and blacks out about once a month during the summer in the deep south. I just recently bought two lower-tier Furman for $120 a piece for other gear and I am kicking myself that this deal is popping up so soon after. Great unit.
