Barbarian stays amazing until the last 45 minutes where it just becomes a silly dumb horror movie
Very strange movie that doesn't go where you think it's going to go. Definitely worth a watch.
I don't know if it's possible to go into Barbarian blind at this point but if you don't know anything about it, buy it and watch it...it's unlike anything else you've seen before.

Barbarian is extremely unique, slow-burn horror. just in time for spooky season!

I think this it the cheapest it's ever been, and may never see a disc release.

Thanks, Fox / House of Mouse.

Nightmare Alley was a well-made film and an interesting watch, but I can't imagine wanting to see a second time.

yeah i definitely laughed out loud/threw my hands up in confusion at the fall at the end

but yes worth a watch for sure as constant unease and creepy environment, and a suitable amount of making you want to yell at the screen for dumb decisions, yet oddly grounded in some frustration-inducing sequences

I went into theatres blind for Barbarian along with several other horror movies that had released that year on a discount day. It was surprisingly good.
