When researching the topic, I read a few posts on FB that people said these weren't that great (these and Mission's version). They said they fall apart, and weren't made very strong. Also some stated the securing method wasn't good.
Eventually I settled on Taylor Made Low Freeboard fenders as they wrap around the top too and they are the "proven" fender material.
For this price I would probably give them a try if I was still in the market though. They seem very versatile and I could imagine situations where they'd be better than the taylor made low freeboard ones.
