"Look into the power delivery of the 12 pin adapter on the thermaltake. I believe it only pushes 450w."
I was looking for a comparison to the a1000g I bought. Later in the thread it is said that the thermaltake has 450 printed on the cable but will still pull 600 because of how its grounded but may have 450 printed on the cable. That board is also 11months old.

The 850W GF3 used to ship with a 300W 12VHP cable (should be 450W) and customer support confirmed that it's just the wrong label. I'm pretty sure all the cables are the same and only the label is different.

Got my 850W GF3 and it does come with a correctly labeled cable now. It'll cost them more to make different gauge cables than just make the same one for all.

Very good power supply. Picked up a 750 and 850 w a few months back. Basically silent and no crashes due to psu...though I have a 7900x and 6800xt only running on the 850w only....

Just picked this up to finished my new build (z690, 12900K /w 7900 xtx) and with the smart fan on is super silent. Under heavy load with a stress test the fan will ramp up but still quieter than all the other case/gpu fans..
At 1000w the box is set for awhile, no need to worry about future power hungry GPUs. 💪👍

The 1050 you posted is the gf a3. It seems to be a little inferior. To quote another forum the difference is:

GF3 is 100% JP capacitors
GF A3 is only main JP capacitor

GF3 has better stability (low ripple noise and voltage regulation)

GF A3 might also be smaller

Paid $225 after $25 coupon for the 1200w version, this is a steal.

This seems like a rather good deal if you need a 1000w psu. It's rated A-tier on cultists, and the couple of professional reviews I looked at for this psu seem quite positive overall. Efficiency is also notably high with lighter loads, which will benefit most users, particularly those without absolute top end hardware who are getting a 1000w psu for future-proofing. According to some recent amazon reviews I saw the 12vhp cable that comes with this psu is labeled as 600w. Thermaltake is a well established brand in this space, and I've seen no reason to doubt this psus' quality control or longevity. Overall, for $140 this seems like an excellent value psu.

Can confirm that the 12vhp that came with the one I ordered last week was labeled as 600W

Cybenetics gives this a "Gold" rating. Seems like a decent psu.
