This. Ewoks may have been the biggest problem in Star Wars for the 15 years after RotJ was released, but there has been so much bad Star Wars since the late 90s that it's hard to complain about Ewoks now.
I actually really like them too and always compared them to being like the Vietcong on their own turf, using traps, tunnels, and just way outnumbering them.

But people complaining about Ewoks in 2023 is just so quaint compared to what SW has become.
Not the best Star Wars movie, but still a fitting end to the Skywalker Saga.

Return of the Jedi was a fine end to Star Wars. Period. What came afterwards was an Ewok's nightmarish hangover dream from the victory celebration.

Not really. The part where Vader screams NOOOO! as the emperor is electrocuting luke is far worse.
That, and personally I hate the new music scene in Jabba's palace. In my opinion it's the worst of any edit in any of the trilogy. Original scene had so much of a better feel to it and the music fits as well.

if you like Galactic Empire board room meetings (think tiny versions of those stupid Senate hearings) and 3 episodes in a prison, that serves no purpose at all (seriously, it was like 3 painful episodes in an already boring show that could easily be deleted... and culminates with the amazing line "I can't swim!" LMAO)...
then yup, Andor is just for you!!!

but they did explore compassion towards droids!!!

Best of all is the Holiday Special from '78. With youtube commentary on of course.
You had to mention that. It's so painful it's like the actors all seem like they want to murder their agents because they have to do the show.

Your head would then probably explode if you watched Ahsoka. Personally I really enjoyed Andor though.

I watched the first 2 episodes of Ashoka, realized I had zero idea who anybody was and they weren't introducing anybody… put that on hold and worked my way through Rebels, on S04E15 now.

It's amazing how much better the cartoons are than 90% of the live action shows… Clone Wars was (mostly, aside from that chunk of droid episodes) awesome, Rebels was actually quite good too. The stories and character building is just so much better.
Live action wise, Mando is the exception… S01/02 we're awesome, S03 to a much lesser extent though (really guys, just make Luke's appearance and the plot of the first 2 seasons worthless??? WELL DONE!)
