Either way, $90 is a good price for descriptions that include the words "Dell" and "27 inch".

One for myself, and got one for my nephew. Both are having issues.
They appeared to be fine at first, but the one I bought randomly turn off unexpectedly every few days. No way to turn it on back on until I rebooted (by unplugged) the computer. I asked the seller, he denied there was an issue. He told me to update to the latest driver, or update to Windows. After I did that no luck. Then he told me to try to use Displayport instead of HDMI, so I went out to buy an Displayport cable but it still didn't work.
My nephew also has issues with his. This was the message my nephew wrote to the seller (a different seller):
"I recently switched the monitor from 60 Hz to 144 Hz while using it. It's been working great, but when I Alt+Tab out, it gives a black screen for 2-3 seconds. For some apps I've been able to bypass it by switching from fullscreen to windowed, but for others the black screens still persist. I've tried a Google search on the issue and it's either the monitor isn't compatible with 144 Hz (which it should have full compatibility with), or it's constantly switching from 144 Hz back to 60 Hz and vise versa. I was wondering if you had this problem before and have any solutions for it. Please let me know - thanks."
But of course the seller never responded.
We spent hours and hours to do research about the issues, it has been over a month.
My monitor still unexpectedly or randomly shutdown every 2-3 days.
You could say I am the unlucky one, but 2 out of 2 with problems? This is too much to take.
So no more Craigslist or FB marketplace for me.
There is no way for us to file dispute like eBay or when you paid with credit card.
If you're lucky, you'll get a good one from an honest seller. But some people sell cheap cuz they knew there's an issue you wouldn't be able to discover until you take it home, and once you paid for it, there's no way to get your money back.
Yeah luck of the draw for sure. New gets you more coverage. I have only had one used monitor go sorta bad a long long time ago. But every monitor since has been rock solid. Where I am they are cheap.
Too many of them at goodwill right now.
