My experience:

Might be precise, but is definitely not accurate.

I ordered 6 total, and placed them one to each other next to a thermometer with traceable calibrations (the reference), to start all were way off from each other (± 3 degrees F).

I left them alone for 36 hours, some got closer to their measurements, some were farther away… none was at ± 1 degree from the calibrated thermometer.
Each thermometer was set to the exact measurement of the calibrated thermometer and left alone for 7 days.
- I checked them randomly, and within an hour they were off again to the reference
- At the end of the 7th day, none of them were close to each other more than ± 3 degrees F and none was close to the thermometer with traceable calibrations (the reference).

Will I recommend the product? Perhaps, depends on your requirements.
To be honest I decided to keep 2 of the 6; they will give me a decent reference for what I need (temp at the garage and basement) however I would not trust the device for important applications (i.e. medication or food at a controlled temp while in transport).

Unless you want to change the batteries (2 AAA) in every six months, don't buy this. BTW, if you compare all three of them at the same spot, temp and humidity numbers are all different.

1. Against identical govee devices? Yes. Calibrate them through the app and they are accurate for general use.
2. Against other brand devices? No
If they are unreliable this is a terrible deal. Calibrate them through the app and they are accurate for general use and a good deal if they suit your needs.
