I saw this deal an hour ago on Costco.com. It is about $65 cheaper than what you would pay for the package elsewhere. Last time, I sold the case for a few buck less than what it retails for and it sold quickly.

An employee at Costco mentioned that the 512gb should be there by thanksgiving, if you want to wait.

I just ended up pre-ordering this, because .... why not!

Weight is less for the 3 as is its footprint. Battery life? But it is a big step up from 2.

And MQ4 is not coming out next year - geez

It shouldn't and if it did, the RAM wouldn't be used efficiently anyhow so it would largely be useless or very limited value.

I can't tell you how I know about the pro 4 release date, but I can say timeline is speed up due to Apple's new headset and the existing pro / 3 not being competitive.

There's no hate - I currently own the original rift, two of the quest, and a quest2.
It would make sense that they release another pro product to compete with Apple next year, but I'm not willing to spend $1500-$3500 on VR. I'll go for this one and if I change my in a year I can flip it.
