So it is $570 after adding third party "warranty" and replacing RAM and SSD. It is funny you think people looking at this deal -- new laptop with decent specs at $700 -- would want to spend all that money on a refurbished gaming laptop with 2-gen old CPU, 3 gen old GPU and lower resolution screen, and worry about potentially battling with customer service for warranty.
It's funny people think that everyone just gets anything they want, too. After you bring yours to 32GB (cheapest is $68), and 1 tb as described (still $50), the posted laptop becomes $818, i don't know if you can add 2 more years of warranty for price from dell, so add if so. The reason stayed the same, This offers a better value, with comparable performance. I don't know what you think is wrong with them, but refurbished is not a problem. This is a deal site, hence the idea of a stringent budget. 30% less price and maybe 10% over-all less performance.

Black friday is 1 1/1 months away.
You mean almost two months? And why do people bother mention this anyway? Do they think we all forgot abut the biggest (pretend) discount day of the year? But yes, that $199 4gb Celeron deal that Walmart is going to have 2 of per store is worth waiting for. I'm sure that will play Starfield at 60 frames per hour Wink

Someone always comments this. This laptop is a terrible deal though. Would be lucky to hit half the frames of the refresh rate on most games in low 1080p
How so? I am not even a gamer, so that's not a big deal to me. But I'm curious. This 16" laptop meets my minimal requirement (like memory and screen resolution), and fits my budget.

Nope. The last time it was posted it was around $755.

If you have the Amex offer on this, then it's definitely a no-brainer if you want an overall capable laptop.
What is the Amex offer?

They cancel the coupon, check your order. Mine showed $846, I have canceled it.
