I grew up eating these so it's not nasty for me. But I agree that this is an acquired taste.

Even the normal price of about $16 online isn't bad. I've never had this brand though. I go to the local Asian market after the festival and stock up. I freeze some if the expiration date is in November.

I love traditional lotus seed paste mooncakes but this brand is mediocre from the several times I've tried it over the years.

It's a good value though and hits the spot well enough for me since top-tier brand mooncakes are $50+ these days. Frown
