No, he's correct, that is too much for almost all individuals.

General practice internal medicine physician here. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin and can result in toxicity with too much. Moderately high doses can result in bone break down or kidney stone. Toxicity at higher levels is uncommon but can result in even worse problems. Unless you have had a extremely deficient level on labs and you we're specifically instructed by a physician, 10,000 IU a day is way more than you should be taking without medical supervision.

I rarely have anyone on such a high dose, and those that do need it only take it for a short period of time as a loading dose and then transition to a lower maintenance dose thereafter. In more than 20 years of practice, I've not had a single patient that needed that high of a dose for more than a few months.

National Academy of Medicine has defined the "tolerable upper intake level" (UL) for vitamin D as 100 mcg (4000 international units) daily for healthy adults and children 9 to 18 years.

I Take 2 5000IU's daily for D deficiency per doctor's order. Last blood work, I was right at the top line for maximum benefit. Lots of people are vitamin D deficient these days, even folks who spend time in the sun. Worth it to get your vitamin D levels checked.

Make sure to take it with K2. When combined with vitamin K2, vitamin D3 helps move calcium into your bones (where it's needed most), which prevents it from forming deposits in your arteries and blood vessels. Take D3 in the morning with fat and K2 at night.

Deal is not working for me, I think its dead. 14.99 is the lowest I can get for 2 bottles. It does show "-38%" as I clipped the 35% coupon first. But not 5.60 ea.

I hate to buy vitamins from Amazon. Please check expiration date. Last time when I bought multi vitamins count 250, expiration date was within 6 months.

I don't see Costco offering 5000IU (looking online). Looks like Costco currently offers Kirkland Signature Extra Strength D3 50 mcg., 600 Softgels for $11.99

https://www.costco.com/kirkland-s...ue&nf=true [costco.com]

I think that beats this deal.

Thank you. It's so hard to find vegie caps. So, what I do is to poke a hole in caps with a knife head or toothpicks, and extract juice in my drink. Or, if the caps are tiny, then I might chew a little suck up juice and the pig out in trash. Some juice gets wasted but that's the best options I have
But you still gave money to big gelatin. Why do vegans have so many rules that they break?

When the price is reduced considerably, short dating is quite common. The same applies to food items at substantially reduced prices.

Great deal. Take these with Magnesium Glycerinate for anxiety, unbelievable how well this works for me.
It's "Magnesium Glycinate". Your advice may be valuable (emphasis on "may"), but it's very important to get the name correct when it comes to advice regarding supplements....and a source for your information would help as well.

Good price, but is it a good product (that's a difficult question unless it's been independently tested against other, similar products)?
An "unadvertised" $25 membership may be available at the clubs for new members. YMMV. You need to ask at the club. Also, "T-Mobile Tuesdays" recently offered a membership for $20, but that's a rarity.

Make certain that it's shipped and sold by Amazon. Otherwise, this deal isn't applicable.

I got 300 pills for $3.33 which is $0.011/pill. Your BJ's price is $0.016/pill which is 40% higher and I didn't need a BJ's membership and it's being delivered so I didn't have to drive to a BJs (which there are none in Cincinnati anyway).
