Worthless comment. Thanks for the effort.

I have had this grill since they moved the grease catch to the back. We cook many thing including hibachi, smash burgers, and yes. . . Eggs and pancakes. This is the same price i paid black friday the year i got mine ($200) plus the cover ($50).

This price is about the best you will get unless you go used or get lucky end of summer clearance.

Despite the above posters worthless remark, the beat thing about this griddle is cooking bacon. Lots and lots of bacon. Takes all the grease and such outside and away from the stove. You can cook pounds of bacon at once. Amazing. Worth it just for bacon.
What if I told you that you can have more than one outdoor cooking device that each suits a different need.
Weird. Have one and have never made eggs and pancakes on it. Steaks, burgers, tacos, carne asada, chicken breasts, asparagus, green beans, stir fry, nachos, etc.

Yes but it's expensive. A couple sellers on Amazon.
But if one found an older one or used one on FB marketplace that would work. I jumped on this one thinking I was getting someone the best one and realized too late it's not. They are already using it. Thanks!

Can I leave this outside during winter in Michigan snow ?
Yes you can if you store it properly. Get a soft cover for it, place a big ball or big bowl under that so water runs off. Make sure you clean & oil the griddle surface to prevent rust.

It looks like the kit is not compatible with all the versions of this grill.

My wife and I shop Slickdeals and while I won't post our incomes, we are both Yale graduates. She is a Doctor here in Louisiana and I am retired from the communications industry, where I managed a team that worked on customer acquisition. I now have rental property that I manage for our passive retirement income. My point is that just because someone's income is high, does not mean that we don't care about getting the most for our money. I was searching for a new laptop this black Friday and could afford to buy anything on the market, but I really prefer to get a great deal on everything we buy. So I watch Slickdeals every day and have deal alerts set for things I'm looking for.
Well said. We all work hard for our money. Best we can do regardless of income is to extract the most value we can from things we buy and own.

That, and sometimes it goes beyond the saving of the money and finding and grabbing the deal has it's own tiny thrill.

Tiny thrill? I love a good hunt and deal. Sometimes I even buy to resell online for little gain, but the thrill alone.

It's easier than the cleanup would be for the same amount of cooking surface indoors. People will often do a large meal on one of these as you only have to clean one surface.

Regarding the 60KBtu TSC version vs the 36KBtu/omnivore WM version, I have both. I recommend this TSC version, especially at this price. It gets blazing hot in a hurry. There have been complaints that it gets too hot, that is not my experience. The WM version, on the other hand, won't even get hot enough to season properly. I've tried multiple tanks, slowly releasing the regulator, etc. to no avail. Tops out just above 400. YMMV, but you've been warned.

I'm going to throw in my 2 cents here. I held off for a long time on buying one. Couldn't resist anymore after seeing the $250 price tag from TSC, and my initial experience with it? I love it! 3 coats on the initial seasoning, and it was ready to go. Made Philly Cheesesteaks on it the first time, and they turned out great. Recently made some chicken fried rice (enough for 8). Cooks a lot of food in one go, and you don't end up smoking and stinking up the house doing it. Cleanup is a breeze. I don't have any experience with any other versions or brands, but this gets get VERY hot. You can easily overcook things in no time with it. I highly recommend it if you're on the fence about it.
