At 5'6", a 29 vs. 30 inseam makes a much bigger difference than people realize. They offer 29's, which is awesome, but only at waist sizes 36 and 38, which is considerably less awesome. Mind-boggling, even.
Lee Extreme Motion jeans are my favorite. They are so comfortable, durable and look really nice with the various styles. I am in for one. I have like 5 different pairs of Extreme Motion jeans. They really live up to its 4.6 out of 5 star rating from +10k reviews.

I noticed that there are 2 different blends of material for the Mega whether I go to 32 or 33 inch waist. One model has 97% cotton and 3% spandex. With the other model, it is 69% cotton, 20% polyester, 8% rayon, 3% spandex.

I looked at the Lee website and it says Mega is 69% for the 33 inch inseam so it maybe a typo for Amazon stating 97% cotton. I definitely prefer the 69% cotton. I bought it. I hope it isn't 97% cotton and it is actually 69% cotton. I have the Maddox straight fit tapered and it just doesn't have comfort and flexibility as the other Lee Motion jeans that I have. More cotton does mean warmer so it may be better for winter cold months.

* These jeans fit true to size. My older Extreme Motion jeans are 33" and 34" waist. With my old 34" waist jeans, I need a belt. I lost weight this year so I picked 33" waist. I am really like 32.5" waist but I tuck in my t-shirts. I could have gotten 32" especially with the elasticity but I am perfectly fine with 33" jeans.

* My 33" waist jeans (Mega) are 69% cotton. Feels great.

I have two pair of the 69% cotton. I normally wear 34 waist jeans but went down to a 32. I easily could've gone down another size. These are practically like leggings.

As a jean traditionalist, I'm not sure how I feel about these. Depends how they wear, probably. So far so good, but it's only been a few washes.

They have the elasticity band so people can size down but it depends on the style as they are designed differently. I have these Motion jeans in straight fit tapered, athletic fit tapered leg and slim fit straight leg. I have big muscular thighs and glutes but a 32.5" waist so I can do 32" with the athletic fit. I would actually prefer slim straight at 33" waist the best as I think that fit looks the best on me. I don't tuck out my t-shirt like in the stock pics. I tuck in and pull out the shirt little bit so that takes lil bit space.

I think it depends on size. Just got 34x32 at $21 but 1-2 month delivery. Typically those shipping times arrive earlier

Lately I have been preferring the Lee's over my Levis 541, mainly due to sale prices but they also "feel" (very subjective I know) better. I have 5 or 6 pairs of these Lee's. Highly recommend.

Also, looks like the two in the OP are out of stock, or showing ~$50 from other sellers. But some other styles/sizes are on sale. TU

I was a big Levi's fan until I tried Lee Motion jeans. I like the blend of Lee with the Motion. Maneuver better and comfortable. I still wear my Levi's and like them. The high cotton percentage will naturally be warmer so that could be a benefit. My jean collections are pretty much 50/50 with Levi's and Lee plus a couple Guess jeans that I bought on the clearance rack at Macy's. Some CK jeans too.

I actually had an awesome pair of Denizen jeans (Levi's Target model) and that was one of my favorite pair of jeans. It had such an awesome unique finish and it was a high polyester %. It eventually got a rip.

I love these pants. Bought 2 pairs in 2020 on a previous deal and they've been my favorite jeans. They're still in great shape. Now I've just bought "Blue Streak" and "Dark Gray." I used to be a Levi's fan until I tried these. Once you go stretch you never go back.

Always found those legging jeans not outlasting an actual pair in terms of toughness. Sure are comfortable and form fitting and usually look good. But when you spend just as much I still prefer a normal pair.

The Extreme Motion jeans are a blend of cotton and polyester. Polyester material is actually stronger than the usual cotton jeans. I prefer cotton/polyester blends whether it be jeans or shirts for the polyester benefits. I also like less wrinkles too.

Blending cotton and polyester overcomes this problem to gain comfort without cling. The most common ratios of cotton/polyester are 65/35, 50/50, and 35/65. In general, cotton-polyester blends (or just poly-cotton) combine the strengths of the two fibers. For example, they are more durable than 100% cotton fabrics. They are also relatively tear and crease-resistant, easy to wash and take care of. Such blends are also more breathable than pure polyester (but less breathable than pure cotton) and shrink less than cotton. Poly-cotton blends are used for pants, shirts, skirts, jackets, shorts, uniforms, bedsheets, tablecloths, etc.

Got a couple of these in other colors and the cut is notably weird after a few cycles (cold wash / damp dry low), maybe the seat is big even for someone who squats a lot, and the thick reinforced waistband can be a little uncomfortable. I feel like these are styled to match your velcro shoes in retirement
Not really. Extreme Motion is designed for people who value EXTREME MOTION. Extreme motion and retirees don't mix. On top of that, athletic fit and this wash finish isn't what retirees look for. This isn't for retirees with velcro shoes. Watch this commercial video of people running, jumping, playing basketball and riding bikes to better understand what Extreme Motion means. I can't see 80 year old people doing this stuff unless they jumped into the cocoon pool.

Weird, because they're 85% cotton in my size
