Big fan of cooking here. I'm an enthusiast in the kitchen and I believe not only in the use of quality ingredients, but quality utensils and cookware as well. Zwilling/Henckels is definitely a name brand that I support, but that stops at knives, as that is what built their brand. They use high quality steel in some lines of their blades that are made in Germany and they manufacture knives in Spain and China as well with a cheaper steel and these knives are far inferior.

With that said, I looked at this set and instantly thought Zwilliing did it again by slapping their name brand on some Chinese junk, and sure enough that's the case per their website.

These are oven safe only to 400 degrees. They very much look like middle weight pots and pans and won't perform as well when cooking. These will not hold up over time. I'd strongly encourage people in the market for a quality set of cookware to step up to All-Clad's D3 line at a minimum. You can get a great set for a little more than this that is supported by a lifetime warranty. They will be heavier duty than these, oven safe to whatever temp you need, can buy a nonstick lined fry pan if you truly need one, will be of better build quality, and are made in the USA. You're going to get better performance out of them as well. It's fantastic to sear off chicken breasts, roasts, and thick steaks and be able to finish them in a preheated oven and a set of All-Clad or another high quality brand of pans would allow for that.
