You are right. I just saw the pictures and didn't read the description. Good catch.
No worries. That was also a good deal, especially if you don't need or want the tools and don't want the hassle of selling them off

Damm, this is better than Thanks giving sale. Makes me want to return my previous purchase
My time window to return just expired. Last deal was $199 for 6a/4a and free tool.

Good deal, but don't need any of the available tools. Need a router and it's not an option

Use TOOLGUYD to get an extra $10 off, it appears to stack with the Dewalt promo. Also, if that doesn't work, the $10 first order (random code I think) works too

Got 2 sets, one with the 5/8" rotary hammer and the other with the reciprocating saw, both for under $360 shipped. Thanks!
Codes didn't stack Frown

Couldn't get it to stack. Adding TOOLGUYD increased it to $189.

Bummer, maybe they fixed it. Did you try getting a new sign-up code?

This a better deal? 2 tools and 2 smaller batteries for cheaper?

1.3 ah vs 5, and those are the inferior brushed tools instead of the better brushless ones (XR branding ) if you're just starting out might be good to get the drill and impact driver but if you don't have any DeWalt tools you can look for other systems and see what gives you the most overall options and flexibility for your money

I have a buddy who has ten rental properties and a large farm. He is in pretty good shape financially. He has an entire collection of Bauer and he uses them pretty often. My neighbor has DeWalt all over his garage. He can barely screw in a light bulb and lives above his means. His DeWalt have barely been out of their box. I know the DeWalt are good, but the buddy with Bauer loves his tools and has not had trouble with them. It seems a lot of people just buy DeWalt for the cool factor. I know very few people who use their tools like my farmer buddy.

Thanks. Burglar broke into my garage a few days ago and stole my whole DeWalt setup. Hammer drill, 3 batteries, charger, bits. Really enjoyed DeWalt so going with them again.

Pretty sure I had the cheapest drill so maybe I'll just use this chance to upgrade.

Impact driver can do everything a regular drill driver can do right?

Uh huh. I'd introduce you to my girlfriend, but she lives in Canada.

Actually no - an impact driver can over drive screws in soft wood or composite decking. For general construction, sure. It's also a ton louder; I have an autistic child who hates being in the room with my when using my impact, but the drill driver doesn't bother him at all.
