I feel like the superbowl tv sales is a myth, the only good time for TV deals besides late november is early-mid summer when the new models drop and clearances happen.
Tons of deals coming in a couple of weeks. No rush.
Super Bowl coming up. Some of the best TV deals of the year are often during this time.

There's been precious few deals on LG Oleds since before Thanksgiving. I'm thinking of buying something now from Costco and hoping for a Super Bowl price drop, then getting a price adjustment.

This actually looks decent, thinking about something in the 50" range for the bedroom tv and want to go all OLED at this point.

That's what I did. Just picked up the 65" Sony X90L (not OLED) for $1100 with the 5 year warranty included. They allow returns up to 90 days so if something else pops up I'll make the swap.

When I was in their store yesterday they were handing out SB TV flyers but the prices were all the same as they have been and in some cases higher! Not sure what's going on.

Decent since includes a 2 year warranty. Lack of stand seems odd given the C2 comes with a stand, what happened to the stand?? Otherwise, the 55 C2 was frequently sold new at $900 in 2023, not a huge discount for a refurbished old model.

Is it reasonable to expect open box deals after the Super Bowl returns start coming in? lol

I assume people mounted their TVs and then lost the stand

Was looking at picking up a $500ish (TCL, Hisense) 55" for sporadic use in a bedroom or office, so this fits the bill as a bit better of a value.

I'm holding strong for sub 3K on the 83C3. Verdetoe said I'm crazy for bidding 2300.
Just curious what the benefit of the 83 is over the 77 is, is the size difference noticeable? The price difference doesn't seem justified.

Agree, the GT has raised offers this past week.. two weeks ago a 65" Lg g3 was $2049 (should have taken it! But I thought Super Bowl prices so I'll wait…) well yesterday the counter offer went to $2300 ——so now I'm really not going to pull the trigger
