Pretty ignorant opinion just because AM5 is the new hotness. Not going to speak the value proposition for this build in particular but the 5800x3d great and is AM4 and AMD is still making AM4 CPUs. 3700X won't be bottlenecking systems for 60 fps if running higher quality and resolutions. DDR5 and PCIe 5 doesn't matter for most people.

This case with a 5700g and a 3060 was $700 for a while. There were a bunch of complaints about shipping damage to the gpu which seems to be consistent with the reviews on this version. They seem to have a slight packaging issue with this unique case design but who knows what the actual rate of failure is as not everyone leaves a review. The retailer has a video in there with instructions on how to unpack the computer without damaging it so it may all be user error.

lol. It's not the 'hotness'; it's the future of AMD. Buying this build will limit upgradability despite the greatness of the '5800x3d'. Talk about ignorant...

Not even going to bother direct responding to the two replies, no point. Not everything you need to buy has to have the highest potential upgradability. You can get away just fine currently with 3700X, upgrade to the 5800x3d if you want, upgrade to whatever else AMD is making for AM4 because they still are. Or you can get away with not upgrading on this specific motherboard and use it for another purpose. Previous socket types are instant e-waste and tons of people still have a use case for it.

Sure if you're an enthusiast that is specifically looking for the best upgrade path, AM5 is the way to go for if you want AMD. That's fine that that's the only thing you want, I can agree with that. But that's not everyone.
