Seems to be cheapest ever for this die grinder.

Previous deal was a hack for the variable speed paddle switch m18 die grinder that could be hacked to $169…. Now you can hack the non variable speed slide switch version with faster rpm max for $50 less…

Amateur welder, so grinding inside corners and pipes etc. Places where it's hard to use an angle grinder

Or you can choose impact wrench for $119.29 instead or just buy both by justifying it being a good deal😏

Im staying away from one key.

It's coming. Big brother gonna shut down your tools if you disobey.

Same thing happening with Bluetooth medical devices and cars.

Ya I could care less about one key , I just wanted the variable speed…

I did try it out since it was my first tool with one key - there definitely is a option to deactivate and lock your tool remotely. Pretty useless to me but I was curious what it was all about and then deactivated it and deleted the app.

Agree that they want full control of every aspect and ability to lock people out of their livelihoods if they don't fall in line. Already doing it in other countries , even UK they restrict driving remotely for certain reasons (not just china any more )… Phx city council just passed something similar… but ya basically it's a tool, I'm not a contractor , and I don't need Bluetooth junk on it

The fact that this isnt variable speed is a deal breaker. The one key model is though. A buddy of mine at work got this on the last hack deal but he regrets it. Its driving him nuts to not be able to slow the speed down sometimes. He broken some bits because of it as well. I have the dewalt and its only on gen 1 and its still variable speed. Shame on Milwaukee with this specific tool by forcing you to get one key to have a feature most die grinders already have
