Dude, it's free, I got two, took about an hour to get it, activated, and cancelled via chat. it's worth my time. I walked out of BB with a receipt that shows zero, I was never asked for a credit card. AT&T send me a cancellation email and my chat end with my account at zero. Now, I'm waiting for the next deal like this so I can get more free phones. lol

Okay fellas. I'm giving this a shot. Pick up scheduled for March 6th. Hopefully I can pick it up early up on the 6th so I can chat in or call before the 3 days overlap to cancel activation fee. I used GV to port over number

Chat and cancel experience for me was bad. Repeatedly asking the reason, pushing me with other offers, giving options, it took around 45 mits to 1 hour finally. So better call the number and cancel.

My local stores don't show any inventory. If I go in the store to order, will they be able to place the order online? I don't have a number to port either.

They changed all pick up dates to Mar 8 near me. So you'll be forced to $35 activation fee. No thanks!

When I ordered online it asked for my credit card. Even though the total was zero. Does that mean that BB can charger for the ful price of the phone?

It seems like most people are picking up in store. Is there a reason why this is preferred over shipping to home? Just want to confirm that the deal is still viable if shipping to home. From what I can tell, all the same steps can be taken, assuming I'm porting a number, in this case from Google Voice (and therefore don't need a new number, which would require the store visit).

I was thinking I'd ship to home since in my case it arrives two days faster. (And, if BB decides to cancel orders, hopefully mine would be at least en route by then.)

Edit: seems like the upside to in-store pickup might be that you don't have to CC details to complete the transaction, which avoids giving BB your credit card info?

Ordered online yesterday and status is
"We'll email you when it's ready for pickup"

I got ATT email to confirm email id and also got Google Voice email to unlock, which I did

No more ATT account setup emails or BB pickup emails. What does that mean? My clock for 3 days has started?
