ATT is not sending back to BB the customer information who cancelled the line.
Its one way API to activate the line when order is being created.

I did not received this email but when I was on a call with the support this morning, the call dropped as soon as they cancelled it as I was using the ATT number I wanted to cancel.

Att charges activation fees if not cancelled within 3 days from activation. For ship to home orders when is the line activated. Is activation date= when you get finish registration email(subject take action now to get access to your new service). Trying to understand if will get hit with activation charges.

This might be the reason phones were OOS in couple of hours yesterday...LOL

I picked up a phone in BB store and they gave me a SIM card. Do I need to insert the card and activate the phone and then cancel the account?

It's not even an amazing phone. I wouldn't risk getting 2. Plus there will be much better phones in the future. I wouldn't want to be blacklisted with BB and ATT. I can't order anything from Metro. Never had service w them.

I started in chat. Rep said he can transfer me but came back saying dept is closed, call monday. I called right away. They were open. Was on hold about 10 min. They were busy cancelling service for 1000s of slickdealers 😄

Mine did that yesterday, said it was deliving today through Shipt and behold around noon today the Shipt order was ready and guy delivered it at 4pm. Called the 1800 number immediately to cancel and was done in 30 mins on hold for 20 mins.
