We are a 2 PS4 house (OG & a Pro) and I'd love nothing more than some good'ole offline LAN action. 2p split screen or even 4p on each could make for some great couch co-op parties.

That said, I'm temped since it's only $2.
Oddly I couldn't find Dead Island collection without using your link, if I searched the PS app only Dead Island Definitive EDITION ($19.99) shows up. Then I saw the drop down menu on the page...
Collection is the original
EDITION is the remaster
If anyone is curious

Besides, it means that another game has become unavailable due to Online DRM verification. Metal Gear Survive and Destiny, for example, also require an online verification.
Oh, and Gran Turismo 7 if you're not connected to the internet you only play a demo version of it.
I'm not trying to be pessimistic here, it's sadly how the gaming industry is nowadays and that's sad. :/

Dead island 2 has slightly better reviews and I thought it was decent, definitely a 7-7.5 out of 10.

I really enjoyed the game, except for the bots that are way too aggressive and will easily catch up with you even if you're wau ahead.

Played the original at release. Had tons of fun exploring and playing the story. Had some freaky zombies in there imo
