Was just $2500 NEW at Amazon and Best Buy last week. It will be that again soon instead of a refurb. These units seem to have a LOT of returns due to focus issues.

Um I bought mine from epson clearance. Coming up on 2 years now. No issues. Arrived brand new in box and all. I bought mine when they were $2300. I'd like to know where you reading about all these returns. The focus is also manual. So maybe user error as these aren't plug and play by any means.

I'm bummed I missed the deal. Epson has a "world class warranty" 2 years on this renewed projector. Warranty service includes free 2 day shipping both ways. They replace your projector with a replacement and you don't have to wait for them to fix the issue. I only see rave reviews regarding Epson's warranty service.

Careful, my bulb on this died luckily right before the 90-day bulb warranty, but would've sucked if it was after that.
