I had three different Keurig machines and all brewed crappy coffee. Some K-caps were better, depending on the brand, but all were crap compared to what I made from the same grind by opening the K-caps and brewing manually in French press or by pour-over method.
Anybody know of any off brand k cup brewers that are reasonably reliable for cheaper? I've had 3 of these crap out on me within 2 years, while only using bottled water, but still doing a thorough clean about once a month, and a basic clean once a week
The K-Express has been $69.99 for months now. Not a deal. It also splashes coffee all over the place unless you use a very tall cup or place something under your mug to bring it closer to the spout. I bought this back in January and promptly returned it.

All the ones I've had have crapped out within 2 years (except the original which lasted a long time but got damaged during a move).
This time I got the Ninja one they have at Costco. If it dies at least I have Costco's return policy.
Good timing, been looking at getting a new Keurig for the wife.
With all the new models and changes, what I'm hearing from reviews is that (Budget allowing) the best options are either the Keurig K-Elite or K-Select (Sold Directly or Retailers like Kohls). Both are older and somewhat "legacy" models versus the newer variants.
I'm leaning towards the K-Select with Kohls Coupons (30%), as the other thing that deters me from the K-Elite is it's secondary built-in water tank. Its intent being to keep hot water ready, but I see it as another point of failure that's hard to access.
All of the others have issues, limited reservoirs, make bad coffee, etc. Does anyone have good feedback as to the newest K-Supreme? Don't care about the smart features, just see that as being the product line going forward from Keurig, so curious as to its reliability and quality.

I got a good deal from Kohl's on the older K-Supreme in November 2022.
So far no issues. No smart features, which like you, I don't care for any way. This has been the most reliable Keurig I've owned.
Get a nespresso maker, coffee is 10x more delicious. Pods are not that much more but worth it. And every now and then Nespresso throws in freebies like mugs and coasters.
I googled the K-express and there was a banner add at Big Lots for it at $39.99, and a first time sign up coupon lowered it to $33.99 (in-store pickup only).

Hopefully I didn't just jinx it.
