"April 4th is National Burrito Day!Grab your bestie and celebrate with a FREE* burrito when you purchase an entrée and a drink. A QDOBA Rewards Member Exclusive."
It's your call....but it's a "free burrito" on "burrito day". Kinda makes sense, doesn't it? The terms that they provided are universally used by them but are inaccurate for this particular promotion. They screwed up (not you) in that respect....but for the sake of accuracy, it's a free burrito, not a free entree.
And for the sake of accuracy (and to be perfectly clear/correct): it's a free entree, not just a free burrito
Just for fun, I called my local Qdoba's (two of them) and spoke to the managers there. They were both familiar with the promotion and confirmed that it's a free burrito, not a free bowl. So I suppose that they haven't got a clue (as location managers)? OK.
I wasn't "calling you out". I just thought that it might be a crazy idea for anyone participating in this to know what to anticipate on "burrito day". I suppose that one could argue with them about this on that day (if they enjoy that sort of thing), but they consider a burrito an "entree" and my imagination dictates that the other customers behind you on line (on an especially busy day) might not appreciate your holding up the line debating this with them. Feel free to dismiss all of this, but it's always best to be prepared in advance for these things and not make assumptions when there's a conflict such as this.
I'll loop back on 4/4 to bow to you if I'm wrong.
