love how the largest national chain of burritos (Chipotle) doesn't participate!

They don't want us value-seekers patronizing them. We're too fiscally savvy for their high profit margin business models.

They gave coupons away in a game for two days. They had bogo. It was a very easy game.

Just tried Moe's bowl for the 1st time ever. Its not as bad as most reviews say but its not comparable to chipotle. It all depends on your priorities. If you are a family of 4 and want to fill yourself or if you eat out daily, Moe's is perfectly fine and will be way more economical. But if you eat mexican once in a while for a change like me, Chipotle is unbeatable. More specifically, their onion and green pepper were terrible (i wouldn't take them if i go again). The selection of condiments was great.

The bottomline is most of these businesses are for some reason dont know how to do business. If Moes can make the quality slightly better, which is so easy, they will steal a big subset of Chipotle customers. On the contrary if Chipotle is not so mean as it is, they will force all other chains to shut down and people wont look elsewhere.
The Moe's bowls here don't really offer much meat, but they're also something like 30% larger than the Chipotle bowls. Each is enough to feed 2 people and they give you chips too.

FWIW first time rewards people get free queso as well.

Yes, because supply and demand. Football became very popular and generated more money, So player salaries increased. Mega-contracts started to be offered. "A rising tide lifts all boats." Patrick Mahomes got a $500 million contract. Was that mandated by the union? No. Supply and demand. If you offer something that people find valuable, they will pay for it.
Supply and demand is about as realistic as mermaids and fairies in Disney movies. It's manipulated by those in power, always has been.

It was unions that got those players paid more. MUCH more. End of story.

I am a vegetarian. Only time I eat out a burrito in these chains is when we don't want to cook at home. My financial head can't digest to pay 12 bucks for rice, beans, cheese, some veggies and sauces wrapped in a tortilla. I can probably make 5 at home with that. And it would take me about 10 minutes, most of it is to cook rice.
yeah, wouldnt make much sense as a vegetarian, is quite expensive for some veggies in a tortilla. But even then its gonna cost more than a burrito to go buy all that stuff. I cant just go buy a portion thats enough for the burrito so im gonna have to pay for stuff that wont be going into my burrito. so either way your gonna spend more at the store than going to a restaurant and just buying a burrito.
