Thanks! I feel like this is the first time the Studio 6 line has gone on sale. I'd been hoping to get a thx-365c on sale for ~$350 for a while now with no luck. Grabbed a 665c to match my 580's.
Very different things here. The Edifier is a self contained system, which currently costs more than the 620s and 630s. Both of those are probably better speakers, but they require an amp at the very least, while the Edifier, if you have the 2.1 system, is great for what it is and the price is good. If you are looking to add on to your system, these deals are a much better option, but its two very different things.

I have the 580s paired with the Monolith. I grabbed an open box THX-365c at midnight for $170 last year...insane. Hope the 665c works for you.

From experience I think you made the better choice.
The 665 is a much better match with the 5 series than the 365.
I would even say it's a better match than the Infinity center most try to get as a replacement for the 520.

If budget is tight, I get it especially at retail price.
At this price, it's a no-brainer in my opinion.

Yes it's double over the 365 but you get a much better matching speaker which is significant benefit imo.

People often say concentrate on the LCR, one main reason is matching all three.
Even to the point people recommend using a tower as a matching center.

The 665 would run about the same price with pretty much the same benefits and much more practical imo.

The thx365 is 3 way so better dialogue clarity and smoother crossover with a dedicated midrange driver.

There is review done by Erin. https://www.audiosciencereview.co...rin.50799/

but it's not bad speakers if you like the sound signature of 630 but there are better speakers in a similar price range like Q150 or i would rather get Definitive D15 for $500

In my experience, the Q150's are letdown. Ended up returning them.
