I'm sad that this movie never got a 4K remaster. Even Anime movies are getting the 4K treatments these days, This was like peak Disney animation, i recently rewatched it in a class on DVD and the animation was gorgeous. Its sad that Disney is pumping out so much other pointless junk these days

They may be getting to it. Beauty and the Beast got 4K treatment

If feasible, buy from iTunes. If 4K becomes available, Apple will upgrade your HD copy to 4K for free within their platform.

Thanks OP!

Finding little value with Disney+ and planning to cancel soon. Instead of the perpetual subscription, we favor purchasing select quality Disney content (both digital and physical).

That said, digital is much more convenient for the family. (IMO, concerns for removal of purchased digital content is absolutely possible, but seems overblown.)
