Says it's USA version. I've ordered from GreenToe before, shipping address was from Adorama. I'm pretty sure it's just a MAP pricing thing. Retailer is willing to sell for cheaper price, but due to MAP agreement cannot advertise is directly as such.
I have this lens for my Sony a7III and it's great. For those unfamiliar with Greentoe just know that $649 is the price that you'll pay. They don't charge for tax or shipping. I buy most of my lenses through Greentoe.

IMO yes - that said, when I bought mine I had an a6500. I knew that within the next two years I would want to upgrade to a full frame and ended up getting my a7III for $95 a few months later. I'm not saying to expect a PM (though you never know haha), but if there's any chance you'll upgrade to a full frame camera, you don't wan to have to re-buy the lens.
