Handles are aluminum, the actual wrench parts are chrome vanadium steel. Not saying it's great steel, but aluminum would be a cruel joke.

The highlight of this set is that they're ball-end, but nowhere was that mentioned.
If you're buying IKEA furniture and don't have a power drill, ball-end Allen wrenches help out quite a bit.
"Ball end hex drivers allow misalignment between the screw and the driver. You can drive at an angle. This is useful when you can't fit the driver in straight. They are not as good for high torque though, since there's less engagement surface so the driver can break or strip the head more easily."
