Can't answer that for you, but… I've done exactly that!

I always take it with me on road trips, and a few times while camping. It might be overkill (overweight) for just a phone and tablet (especially if you need a capacity that is airplane legal), but I used mine to recharge my tablet, phone, watch, run a USB fan, charge my camera batteries, run an air bed pump, and even run a low wattage induction cook surface. When I'm at home, I use it in my home office where I don't have enough wall outlets to run my vinyl record player… hey, it's clean power right?

Cons: it's heavy, you won't really want to hike with it, probably just car camping situations. Running high W appliances might be out of reach, like an 800W microwave. You may have a hard time recharging the battery from solar while keeping a fridge running, it's probably not enough for indefinite refrigeration. When you're not camping, it'll probably spend most of its time gathering dust (store at 50% power to prevent degradation!!!), unless there's a power outage (and most power outages don't last long).

So, if you can find enough uses for it like me, and you go on road trips a few times a year where you NEED power like me (photos for sale), then sure its worth it. But… if you just like the IDEA of it, maybe it's not worth it. Always other things to spend money on.
this is perfect for those end of the world situations where even though the cell towers and satellites were destroyed in the apocalypse, you can still enjoy those final hours pretending to text.
if you don't already have one, get it, I had one smaller than this powering just the router and the modem for about 12 hours, another battery pack powering the DC fan

got us through the recent Houston storm power outage near Cypress

yes, it will be collecting dust most of the time, until I can afford a generac, this will be a huge lifesaver

It's $275.51 if you use the coupon code in my description and not the coupon code on eBay

Is this worth it? Use case is keeping my macbook pro m1 max and samsung s24 ultra running all weekend so i could do remote work from a picturesque campsite with my phone as a hotspot.

ive heard they also give 5 year warranty on refurb products. ebay listing does show 5 years of 'service', so i assume thats true. i guess you get 2 years also with ebay. not sure if ebay warranty is better or worse..
edit: i finally pulled the trigger on one of these after wanting one for a couple years! thanks op. happy early bday to me... $302 shipped (incl tax). Arrives 5/29

So can't really run a fridge in case of power outage?

They advertise 12h on their graphic, not sure how accurate that is.
