Hell no, this is an interactive museum and an official release. It's bad ass, and I support official releases. It's got Jaguar games on it. Fire

Watch the reviews of #Atari50 on Youtube, or read some articles. It is MUCH more than just the old games. It's an interactive documentary with videos, pictures, stories, as well as some new games based off the old IP. Very highly rated.

Everytime I see something like this I wrestle with the idea of buying it to remember the fun I had playing the games of my childhood.

But, now in my late 40s I play the game for a couple minutes and I quickly get bored. (I tried playing an NES game last week on an emulator and I didn't play long)

Games just got so much more sophisticated with more depth to them in the 90s and 00s.

So, I'm very tempted yet I know myself oh so well. I'll probably never play it.

That's NOT an Atari game...that's Activision.

You are right. Played it on the Atari but it was one of the first Activision games released.

This is such a beautiful collection. Don't think of this as just a collection of Atari games. Think of it is a museum. It goes through a timeline of a company from the pre 2600 days to today with pictures, videos, interviews, modern versions of classic games, completed versions of cancelled games. It's one of the most immersive pieces of media I've experienced. I gave it to my son who knew nothing about Atari and he was hooked.
