$429 is not the original price of the refurbed version—why do users pass on the deceptive pricing tactics from non-partnering retailers?

So do you get the new account discount via email? And does it stack?

Edit: yes, you receive the $20 new account discount via email, but I haven't found a way to stack it with SUMMER20

Edit 2: Bose customer service confirmed you can't stack

That's what I'm gonna judge today when they arrive I need to be able to wear for hours at a time let's see
I wear mine all day at times depending on what I'm doing.
I wasn't sure I liked the feel when I first got them, but I love these things now.
I am on meetings all day long some days.

Had a pair of these for a couple weeks before returning them. Every time I would get back into my car, the ANC trying to cancel out my car door closing was bottoming out the headphone drivers and audibly crinkling. I would have to remember to turn off my headphones specifically before I got into my car or deal with the drivers crinkling in my ear every time I wore them out shopping or whatever. It was a deal breaker for me on top of middling sound.

Ended up with a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 4 that sound wildly better and the body is less delicate than the Bose Ultras. ANC on the Ultras is top tier, but unless you fly constantly and need absolute silence, the ANC on the Sony XM4/5 and Sennheiser is perfectly fine.

A refurbished one should be under $200 IMO.
A good deal should be $200, given some people purchased these new for $250 from Verizon …

And some bought them at retail when they were first released.
This is a good deal for right now. Will we ever see that Verizon price again? Was there strings attached to that VZ price?

You'll see it, prices on electronics always goes down, never up. Question is when, or how long it will take. I had no idea about the strings on VERIZON, just noticed some people got it for $250, and Verizon doesn't sell refurbished.

The VZ deal was soo good, I couldn't even find the listing on Slickdeals.
VZ sells phones and service. I have a hunch there was strings, but I can't find the deal to confirm.

electronics go down within reason. They don't just go down so far that they give them away. Companies are in business to make money. Sales are never so good that they are losing money.
yes, prices on electronics do indeed go up. Because after they are not on sale anymore guess what happens?….. they go back to regular price.

Promo Code SUMMER20 not working on Bose site.

Was about to get the Non-Ultra model at AirForce Exchange for $249 - no tax, no shipping.

My QC35 died on my last trip, so need replacement.

I didn't see it mentioned, but there is an AMEX offer for $30 off $200 right now.

I just purchased yesterday using the AMEX offer and the $20 off for new customers. Seems like a pretty good deal.

Bose has a decent return policy so we'll see how these sound.

Anyone else buy these? Wondering what to expect from a refurbished product. I've bought Sonos refurbished products and they've been perfect. Hopefully Bose is up to the same quality.
