Let me say something. Modular power supplies are wonderful, but they're more "nice-to-have" than necessary. If the budget matters, I would much rather have a nice quality non-modular, and use cable extensions to end up with the same exact look.

600 watts rating is suitable for APU only graphics or perhaps PCs with non-high end dedicated GPUs.

For sure, a great $$deal for to replace skimpy OEM power supplies.

Amazon has error in description says, "1 Lithium Ion Batteries required" ?

Found a short review online: https://www.eteknix.com/thermalta...ly-review/

This is likely a weird product listing that was made on accident, maybe with a different sku ID than they normally would use for this product.
A couple years ago I purchased a Thermaltake 1200W PSU that got listed with a German title on accident. I'm guessing that nobody bought it because they couldn't search for it, so it sat for a while, eventually it got pushed over to Woot (amazon's wholesaler for weird stuff that sits too long) and that's how I found it. I actually didn't buy it on Woot though, I got it on Amazon, but when it showed up everything was normal. It was set to 120v and it works fine.

I would bet that this is a similar case, but this time it wasn't in german so it got noticed as soon as the price got dropped lower than average. Since it's sold and shipped by Amazon you shouldn't have any issues.

Team up with Citi credit card $15 off $15.01 promotion offer mentioned elsewhere in SD with code: 24CITIPD. Final price is only around $22.00. This promotional code can only be used once. Hurry before someone found out about this possible error!

Tier C; $38 is fine since I wouldn't pay over $40 for it

Sure. This is going to drive some crazy i9 k system with a 4090 or something like that but an Ryzen 7 7800X3D with a 4070 should be fine. That's still going to be a pretty potent gaming system and certainly not low and or APU only. Those OEM APU only systems come with a 200 or 300 watt power supply. 300 or 400 watts more is plenty for a discrete GPU as long as you stay away from the high end or ultra high end GPUs. There are a lot more CPUs and GPUs sold in the i5/i7 or Ryzen 5/7 and 4060/4070 or 7600/7700 ranges than in the high end stuff and this is fine for those.

tier C, oof. suitable for really budget builds, or maybe getting another year or two out of an old build with like a 2070 or something that needs a new PS. otherwise, spend a bit more to get a better unit.
