It's incredibly time consuming to trim a brisket? Takes like 5 minutes max and it's going to be realistically at least a day and a half later before you can eat (trim, dry brine overnight, smoke for 12 hours, rest for 12 hours).
You know everything in the brisket is usable right? The extra fat can be rendered into tallow and the remaining chunks of adipose tissue and trimmings can become crispy chicharron.

Thanks for coupon. I have it clipped. How do I use it. Is it in store or delivery. I am seeing $89 a lb for the brisket the coupon is available for. I am confused.

I've never done delivery. Once clipped, should apply when you go to pay at register. My buddy's didn't scan, and the employee just did an override.

I'm at Kroger checking it out and seems like it have at least about 30% fat in. It's incredibly time consuming to trim all that out. If you don't have a problem with the fat, its a good deal.
I was about to say the same thing. The "deckle fat removed" cuts are actually great value. I also calculated the amount of (bad) fat I cut out and it came out to be a wash.

Too bad Kroger delivery shutdown here in San Antonio. Didn't even last 2 years.

You're right about the time, but the thrown away meat does eat into the bargain a lot.
